What it is
Paying for one company’s assistant means getting that company’s models, good at some things and not at others. NuRoute Chat works across providers instead.
For every question, Artemis, the engine inside NuRoute, weighs how well each model in its pool would answer it and what that would cost, and sends it to one of them. Chat runs on the Balanced preset.

Searches the web when it helps
Recent questions get a web search, with numbered sources you can open.
Reads your files
Attach up to five PDF, text or code files to a question.
Use it from your tools
Personal plans include an API key for Claude Code, pi and other OpenAI- or Anthropic-compatible tools.
- Saved chats
- Every conversation is kept in the sidebar and can be searched. Temporary chats aren’t kept.
- Edit and regenerate
- Change a question or ask for a new answer. Earlier versions stay one click away.
- Sources you can check
- Answers that use the web number their sources and link to the pages.
- Long answers finish
- If an answer hits the length limit, Continue picks it up where it stopped.
- Maths and code
- Formulas render properly. Code comes in blocks with a copy button.
- A clear allowance
- The sidebar shows the tokens you have used this week and when they reset.
- Memory you control
- Chat remembers what matters across your chats. See, edit or delete it under Account, or turn it off for one chat or for all.
- Custom instructions
- Tell Chat once how you like your answers, and every chat follows it.
- Shared links
- Share a read-only copy of a chat by link. Stop sharing and the link no longer works.

- Chat doesn’t show which model answered. Choosing is NuRoute’s job. Developers who want a named model can call it through the Platform API.

- Chat reads PDF, text and code files. It doesn’t read or create images.
