n8n connector

n8n-nodes-nuroute is the official n8n community node for sending chat completions through your NuRoute gateway, no integration code required. It's intentionally scoped to just chat completions; everything else (projects, routing config, policy, budgets, API keys) is still managed from the NuRoute dashboard.

Renamed from n8n-nodes-aicp — the old package is deprecated on npm and points here. Existing workflows keep working; new installs should use n8n-nodes-nuroute.

Install

From within n8n (self-hosted instances): Settings → Community Nodes → Install → enter n8n-nodes-nuroute.

Local development / linking against the NuRoute monorepo:

Restart n8n and the NuRoute node appears in the node panel.

Credentials

Create a NuRoute API credential in n8n with:

Field	Value
Base URL	Your NuRoute gateway URL (no trailing slash)
API Key	An aicp-... key from your project's (or org's) API Keys page. Org-wide or project-scoped keys both work.

Node parameters

Parameter	Description
Model	auto (recommended: NuRoute's routing engine picks the best model) or a specific model ID
Messages	One or more { role, content } pairs; build a system prompt plus conversation history
Simplify Output	On by default: returns { content, model, finishReason, usage } instead of the raw API response
Additional Options → Temperature / Max Tokens / Provider	Optional. Provider pins a specific upstream provider. Name a model with it: with Model auto, no router runs and the provider serves the first model it lists

With Model auto, Artemis Task picks the model for each request.
